Your body breaks them down very quickly and spikes blood sugar and after 1 hour it’ll crash down which spikes the insulin and promote fat storage since your body converts the excess amount of carbohydrates into fat.
So, avoid these bad sources of carbohydrates and eat an only good source of carbs. But sometimes, once a week or once in two weeks you can have any of these things, it will not damage your body at all because if 90% of your food is coming from good carbs then your body will work properly.
